How are classes structured?
One swimmer is permitted in the water during each lesson. If siblings, friends, or other family members are also in the pool, a parent or guardian is responsible for supervising them.
For group lessons: the selected class time is split evenly among the swimmers, with one swimmer in the water at a time. For example, a 90-minute group lesson provides two swimmers with 45 minutes of private instruction.
What are the lengths of your lessons, and how long is best for my child?
We offer 30 min, 45 min, 1 hour, 1.5 hour, and 2 hour lessons. 30-45 min lessons are usually great for beginners, while 45 min-2 hour lessons are great for multiple swimmers or intermediate/advanced swimmers.
How many times a week would we meet for classes?
When filling out the registration form, please select the desired times that you would like to meet weekly. There is no required number of times to meet each week. However, most progress is achieved through consistent classes.
My child is under 4 years old. How do classes work for them?
For swimmers under 4 Years Old: A parent or guardian must be hands-on and in the water with the swimmer for the full lesson.
For swimmers 4 Years - 18 Years Old: A parent or guardian must remain poolside for every lesson, regardless of the swimmer’s age. If a parent or guardian leaves the area, the lesson will pause and will resume only when they return. Any missed time is counted as part of the scheduled lesson and cannot be credited back or re-scheduled.
How do I sign up for lessons?

I need to cancel & reschedule a lesson. What is that process?
Lesson packages reserve dedicated time in the instructor’s schedule. Clients may reschedule a lesson with at least 24 hours notice, subject to instructor availability and the limits below. Each lesson package includes up to two client-initiated reschedules due to illness, weather, or other scheduling conflicts. Weather-related reschedule requests should be made at least 3 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Client cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, no-shows, and cancellations beyond the two included reschedules will result in forfeiture of that lesson.
For group lessons, cancellations must be made by the entire group to qualify for rescheduling. Individual swimmer absences within a group lesson are not eligible for a refund, credit, or makeup lesson.
What are some safety measures Splash Form Aquatics practices during lessons?
At Splash Form Aquatics, safety is our top priority. Our lessons are designed to help swimmers build confidence while learning to stay aware of their surroundings, practice pool safety, listen respectfully, and follow instructor guidance.
We support a safe and focused learning environment through our one-child-in-the-water approach, requiring a parent or guardian to be in the water for children under age 4, and consistently redirecting or correcting unsafe behavior when it occurs. Our goal is to make every lesson safe, productive, and positive for both swimmers and families.
My child has a disability. How are classes assessed and taught?
Splash Form Aquatics provides individualized consideration for swimmers with disabilities and will make reasonable modifications when appropriate to support participation. Parent or guardian participation in the water may be required in some cases when reasonably necessary for the swimmer’s individual safety or instructional needs. Decisions are made case by case, using the swimmer’s actual needs and the specific lesson circumstances. Splash Form Aquatics may decline a requested modification if it would fundamentally alter the lesson or create a safety issue that cannot be reasonably addressed.
What is your refund policy?
All lesson packages are prepaid in full and are generally non-refundable. Registration fees, completed lessons, forfeited lessons, missed lessons, and unused lessons are not eligible for refund, credit, or partial refund. Once the first lesson in a package has been used, the remaining balance of the package is fully non-refundable.
In cases of extended medical issues or relocation, account credit or a partial refund for unused lessons may be considered at the sole discretion of Splash Form Aquatics. All packages expire 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise extended by Splash Form Aquatics.
I will be out of town for a few weeks. What is the process for lessons in this circumstance?
